Ask a Question

Is my money safe?

Yes. When you back a campaign, your money goes into a secure escrow account — not the creator's pocket. For All-or-Nothing campaigns, if the goal isn't reached by the deadline, the escrow unlocks and every backer reclaims their pledge with one tap; fees paid at pledge time are not returned. You can view the public escrow record from any campaign page.

How do refunds work?

Every campaign here is All-or-Nothing. If the funding goal isn't met by the deadline, the escrow unlocks and you take your pledge back with one tap, no forms, no waiting on support. The platform fee, any tip and any sharer bounty paid when you backed are not returned.

What fees do I pay?

Backing a campaign costs a small platform fee (1.5% or less, depending on your plan — Platinum members pay zero). Adding money by card costs 1.5% plus a $0.99 deposit fee; with any subscription that $0.99 is only charged on your first deposit. Direct transfers into your account have no deposit fee, and browsing is always free. Separately, money held in your account carries a 0.01% weekly holding cost (about 0.52% a year) — see "What is the holding cost?" below.

What is the holding cost?

Money sitting in your account carries a 0.01% weekly holding cost, about 0.52% a year, which covers running and securing the platform. It applies to the balance you hold, not to money you have pledged to campaigns, and never to anything below 10. Because your account is self-custodial, nothing is ever taken automatically: the accrued amount is shown in Payments and you approve the payment yourself, or it settles with your next pledge.

What is the Weekly Jackpot?

A prize pot funded by us: 0.1% of every commission CoFunders earns goes into a public wallet, and the app shows that wallet's live balance, so you can verify the amount yourself on a block explorer. It is drawn every Sunday at 18:00 UTC. You get entries for backing campaigns, for friends who join with your link and back one, and for shares that bring in a pledge. Full rules are in the jackpot terms.

How does the 50 onboarding reward work?

Add at least 20 to your account, back a campaign with at least 5, create a campaign, publish a short video about CoFunders on Instagram and TikTok, invite ten people who each create a campaign and back one, and finish the education course. Then submit the claim from your profile. A person reviews it within a few days and pays 50 once. We can refuse a claim for any reason, including a video that does not meet our standards. Each person you invite also pays you from the day they join: half of our fee on everything they back, a tenth of the fee revenue they generate, and 20 for every 50 of revenue one of them generates, for as long as they keep using it.

How do I get my reward?

Campaign rewards unlock based on how much you have pledged to that campaign. Open the campaign page: tiers you've unlocked show their full details, and the creator coordinates delivery through campaign updates and direct messages.

What are digital dollars?

Your balance is held in digital dollars (USDC) and digital euros (EURC) — regulated tokens each backed 1-to-1 by real dollars and euros in audited reserves. They move instantly and work globally, but you can simply think of them as the dollars and euros they represent.

Where is my money stored?

In your own secure account, protected by keys that only your login can unlock. Nobody — including CoFunders — can move your money without you approving the transaction. The holding cost is the one charge that accrues on your balance over time, and even that is only collected when you approve a payment. You can export your account key any time under Menu → Security.

How do I withdraw?

From Portfolio, tap Withdraw. Card and bank payouts go through MoonPay, a licensed partner that checks your identity and shows its own fee; we charge nothing. You can also send your balance to any Solana address.

Did this answer your question?
Can I get my money back?

Yes, in one case: if an All-or-Nothing campaign misses its goal by the deadline, the escrow unlocks and every backer reclaims their pledge with one tap; fees paid at pledge time are not returned. Once a campaign reaches its goal the money goes to the creator to build the thing you backed, so it cannot be returned. Back only what you are comfortable parting with.
